With stunning panoramic views across open countryside, Woodcutters Cottage is the perfect place for a rural retreat and for anyone wanting to explore the natural beauty of The Peak District and surrounding area. Located at Hardingsland Farm, an 18 acre mixed small holding on the border of The Peak Park, at Macclesfield Forest the cottage is encircled by farmland, meadows and woodland, and is within yards of numerous tracks and bridle paths leading directly into Macclesfield Forest and open countryside. The area is a haven for birds and wildlife and in Spring the countryside bursts into life and the farm comes alive with newborn lambs in the fields, piglets in the copse and swallows nesting in our barn. In Summer, wild flowers bloom and and buzzards sore high over the fields, while in Autumn we are lucky enough to see deer in our fields and the nearby forest.

Woodcutters Cottage can comfortably accommodate five people and provides ideal holiday accommodation for families, walkers, cyclists and holiday makers looking for peace and relaxation or wanting to explore the beautiful surrounding countryside.

The cottage is within walking distance of two country pubs, which serve good food, The Leather Smithy at Langley and The Stanley Arms at Forest Chapel. Our nearest shop is a five minute drive with the historic market town of Macclesfield just three miles away.
